Plants have autotrophic mode of nutrition. They can make their own food and utilize it. They make food (glucose) by the process of photosynthesis.

SweetAppleAckers: But why dont they digest food?
Anonymous: They don't need it buddy they muje their food directly to glucose which is sent to other processes and us broken down by restoration to give them energy
