Plants which prepare and use food by themselves do not have a digestive system. Then why do we, who receive food from plants have a digestive system?

Plants make there food through the process of photosynthesis. Because the synthesis of food occurs within them they do not need a digest it. Therefore they do not have a digestive system like humans. A digestive system like what you're referring to is only found in animals.
