after applying trigonometry acceleration will be equal to g( sin theta)

here theta =30°

and sin 30°=1/2

therefore acceleration will be g/2

which is equal to 5 m/s²(if g =10m/s²)

now distance is given as 5 m

and you have calculated the acceleration

so apply the 3rd equation of motion

s= ut +1/2 at²

we know that the ball was released so the initial velocity of ball will be 0

and thus u=0

so the equation will be turned to

5 = 1/2 (5) t²

t² = 10/5

so t² = 2

thus t = √2
