as given that , x is 2.

so, the value of p by putting in the equation is

3 {x}^{2}  + px - 8 = 0.

3 ( {2})^{2}  + 2p - 8 = 0.

12 - 8 =  - 2p

 \frac{4}{ - 2}  =  > p

 - 2 =  > p

4 {x}^{2}  - 2px + k = 0.

4 ({2})^{2}  - 2( - 2)2 + k = 0. =  > 16 - 8  =  - k

 - 8 = k.

Step-by-step explanation:

as given that , x is 2.

so, the value of p by putting in the equation is

3 {x}^{2} + px - 8 = 0.3x

2

+px−8=0.

3 ( {2})^{2} + 2p - 8 = 0.3(2)

2

+2p−8=0.

12 - 8 = - 2p12−8=−2p

\frac{4}{ - 2} = > p

−2

4

=>p

- 2 = > p−2=>p

4 {x}^{2} - 2px + k = 0.4x

2

−2px+k=0.

4 ({2})^{2} - 2( - 2)2 + k = 0. = > 16 - 8 = - k4(2)

2

−2(−2)2+k=0.=>16−8=−k

- 8 = k.−8=k.
