Solution :-

Presence of lipids

The most accepted model to describe structure of plasma membrane is a fluid mosaic model given by singer and nicolson in 1972.

It describe that plasma membrane is a made of lipid which is arranged in a bilayers known as phosphoglyceride. phospholipids is present in high amount. Lipid is made up of two parts head and a tail head is present at the outer surface since it is hydrophilic. Tail is present at inner surface it gives protection from aqueous environmental it is hydrophobic and non polar made up of saturated hydrocarbons.

Plasma membrane also contains cholesterol which has sugar and carbohydrates, proteins are of two types on the basis of ease of extraction peripheral and internal proteins.
