PLASTER OF PARIS SHOULD BE STORED IN MOIST PROOF CONTAINERS BECAUSE IT REACTS WITH AIR AND WATER AND GETS DAMAGED AND USELESS.....

HOPE THIS HELPS U. . @MP #MAHABOOBPASHA #..

syedarafatahmed: Thanks for the answer
Ribhu11: Man I guess your answer is partially incorrect
syedarafatahmed: Is it....then you tell me the answer
Ribhu11: Plaster of paris has a formula CuSO4. (1/2)H2O absorbs atmospheric water vapour to form a hard substance called gypsum having formula CaSO4. 2H2O. In this state it becomes harder to use therefore Plaster of Paris is stored in a moist proof container.
syedarafatahmed: Thanks man this was the answer what I was searching for
Ribhu11: This gypsum is the substance which helps our bone to set when we get a fracture. Therefore it's not completely useless.
