Plastic debris is found everywhere. It clogs street drains in our cities; it litters campgrounds and national parks. Plastic trash have also been found everywhere in the world’s oceans. Plastic waste has resulted in many detrimental environmental effects including animal choking, pollution, blockage of channels, rivers and streams etc. So *recycling of plastics* is essential in today’s world.

Indian Centre for Plastics in the Environment has arranged for an *Online contest* in respect of the *Importance of the Recycling of Plastic Wastes.* There will be attractive prizes for the top 3 participants.

Students have to make a Power point presentation (Max 5 slides excluding the Title slide and the Last Slide, within 10 MB) and lay out the answers to the following questions there.

1. How can you facilitate the recycling of plastics?

2. Elaborate how plastic waste management can be a profitable business.

3. What are the challenges you anticipate in phasing out Single-Use Plastics (SUP)?
