Plastic, due to its synthetic, non-biodegradable nature, is very hazardous to the environment. To save the environment use of plastic should be minimized and alternative products should be used. Polythene bags can be replaced by paper bag or cloth bags, toys can be prepared from natural products and household stuff like baskets can be made from jute or bamboo. Similarly food containers can be made from earthen/clay or ceramics. Plastic has made its utility in industries also to save the natural resources which are limited, nonetheless, man needs to strike a balance and should not compromise on environment for sake of his convenience.
