The two threats to plastic include:
1) Plastics are non-biodegradable products which often are the cause of land/soil pollution. They also cause mass garbage accumulation as they are hard to decompose.
2) Since they do not decompose, various animals feed on it. Animals which are of commercial use for humans like dairy animals, when feed on such products produce dairy products which are not that healthy for the intake of humans.
