The following are examples to show that plastics are non corrosive in nature:

Iron nails get rusted when exposed to moisture and air but plastic do not react with water and air. Plastic does not react with strong chemicals. Hence, cleansing chemicals are stored in plastic bottles and not in metal containers.

Answer:

The plastic is non-corrosive, that is, they do not react or do not have the chemical reaction with the material contained in it. Many containers like a bucket, mug, water bottles, and food containers are made up of plastics. Plastic does not react with the chemical or other items stored in the containers made of it, It does not get rusted when exposed to moisture and air and It does not decompose when left in open for a long period.
