Farmers should press for their charter of demands. They should demand that Govenment take steps to prtect water bodies from encroachers, realtors and sand miners.
They should ask the State Government to waive crop loans of co-operative institutions without restricting it to only small farmers.
Also when so needed, they should ask the Government to increase the discharge of water from dams to meet requirements of standing cash crops.
