2). Let the abscissa i.e. x coordinate be a.
so, ordinate i.e. y coordinate = 3/2a
2x+5y=19
2a+5×3a/2=19
2a+15a/2=19
(4a+15a)/2=19
19a=38
a=38/2
a=2
Therefore, x coordinate = a=2
y coordinate = 3a/2= (3×2)/2= 6/2=3
Thus, the point is (2,3).

6). 3y=ax+7
x=3, y=4
3×4=a×3+7
12=3a+7
3a=5
a=5/3
