Heya!!

========================================

Consider triangle ABC right angled at B and let angle A = theta.

Given sin theta = 12/13

i.e. BC/AC =12/13

AB^2=AC^2-BC^2

=13×13 -12×12

=169-144

AB^2=25

AB=5.

Thus ,

sin theta = 12/13

cos theta = AB/AC = 5/13

tan theta = BC/AB = 12/5

2 cos theta + 3tan theta
---------------------------------
sin theta + tan theta sin theta

= 2×5/13 + 3×12/5
-------------------------
12/13 + 12/5×12/13

=259/102
========

.°. (C) is right.
