Answer:

f(x) = {x}^{7} - {x}^{5} + {2x}^{2} + 5 \\ and \: g(x) = {x}^{7} + x - 2 \\

We have to find the degree:-

f(x) +g(x)

So firstly we find the degree of f(x) which is highest degree of f(x) hence it is 7.

Similarly in g(x) which is 7.

According to question

f(x) +g(x)

= 7+7

= 14

Question 9 solution

we above find the degree of f(x) and g(x) which is 7and 7 Consecutaly.

f(x) -g(x)

=7-7

=0

Hope this is helpful to you!
