Isotopes are atoms of the SAME element, having different mass numbers or neutrons.
Not of different elements, or different number of protons

here option (b) is incorrect

actually, Isotopes means, Same atomic number and difft mass number ( different number of neutrons )

eg: istopes of Carbon = C 12 , C 14 , C 13

so istopes are always same elements!!
