Heya.......!!!!!

This question is based on Reaction of Zinc with Sulphuric Acid ( Dilute and Concentrated )

So ,Let's see the Reactions :

● REACTION OF ZINC WITH DILUTE SULPHURIC ACID :

=> Zinc reacts with dilute sulphuric acid to form zinc sulphate and hydrogen gas is evolved.

reaction : Zn + H2SO4 → ZnSO4 + H2

● REACTION OF ZINC WITH CONCENTRATED SULPHURIC ACID :

reaction :

=> Zn +.2H2SO4 → ZnSO4 + 2H2O + SO2

◆CONCLUSION◆ ➡➡ Reaction of Zinc With Dilute Sulphuric Acid is correct way of carrying out Reaction ,
=>> , because Concentrated Sulphuric acid cannot be used for the preparation of H2 gas as in the reaction SO2 is formed instead of H2 .

Hope It Helps You ☺

TANU81: Thanks a lot....
rohit710: My pleasure ^_^
