Answer :-

First we should know about types of circuit :-

There are mainly three types of circuit :-

▪️ Series circuit

▪️ Parallel circuit

▪️ Mixed circuit

Series circuit :-

A circuit in which the current is same across all Resistances.

 R_{eq} = r_1 + r_2 + r_3 +.... r_n

Parallel circuit :-

A circuit in which the potential difference is same across all Resistances.

 R_{eq} = \left(\dfrac{1}{r_1} + \dfrac{1}{r_2} + \dfrac{1}{r_3} + .... \dfrac{1}{r_n} \right)^{-1}

Mixed circuit :-

A circuit in which both Parallel and Series circuit can be found.

Now Please refer the picture attached for the further solution .

(i) Equivalent Resistance = 6 Ω

(ii) Equivalent Resistance = 6 Ω

(iii) Equivalent Resistance = 2 Ω

(iv) Equivalent Resistance = 4/3 Ω
