to prove--->XY||BC

by basic propotionality theorem or thales theorem

AX/XB=AY/YC

4/6=6/9

2/3=2/3

LHS=RHS

so with this we can say that XY||BC

it is not necessary that the lines are parallel because there are no information about the lines.
