Question - 70

Speed of train = 60 km/hr
Train starts at = 1 : 45 pm

Train travel in one hr = 60 km
Train travel in 165 km in x hrs

By using formula
Time = Distance/ speed
Time = 165 / 60
Time = 2 hrs 45 minutes

So we add 2 hrs 45 minutes in starting time. (1:45pm)

so we get 4: 30 pm

So, Train reach at distance of 165km at 4 :30 pm.

Question 71

Let the side = 4cm

Perimeter of square = 4× side
= 16 cm

Area of square = side × side
= 16cm ^2

So that the 4 is a side which equals the area and perimeter of square.

In your first question.. . You need to find the amount of time taken to cover 165 km first.

So
 \frac{165}{60}  =  \frac{33}{12}  =  \frac{11}{4}  =  \frac{8}{4}  +  \frac{3}{4}  = 2 \: hours \: (now \: convert \:  \frac{3}{4} hrs \: into \: minutes) \\  \frac{3}{4}  \times 60 = 45minutes
So the train took a total of 2 hr 45 minutes since 1:45.

1 : 45 + 2 :45 = 4 : 30 Pm answer

the second question can be solved through options.

4a =  {a}^{2}
satisfy by putting options !

4 looks a correct option.. .

4 \times 4 =  {4}^{2}  \\ 16 = 16
So 4 is your side.
