1) Gandhi ji started Satyagraha at Kheda district in Gujarat because the farmers in Kheda we're asked to pay high revenues....
The people could not afford to pay so much money as revenue and complained this matter to Gandhiji..
Gandhiji then implemented Satyagraha and asked all the people not to pay their revenues..

2) The two basis of colonial economy in Vietnam was rice and rubber plantation.

Why did Gandhiji start the satyagraha at Kheda in Gujarat ?
    
i) In 1917,crops failed in Kheda district of Gujarat, people were suffering from shortage of food and plague epidemic so they asked for relaxation or reduction in the land revenue.

ii) But instead the govt refused to limit land revenue and insisted on its full collection.

iii) Gandhiji supported the peasants and advised not to pay revenue until their demands get fulfilled.

iv) This movement was a success as govt issued instruction that revenue should be recovered only from those peasants who are afford to pay.

v) Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel also accomplished Gandhiji in the movement.

A nation can be defined as group of people who are bound together into a single body, through history, customs, value, language,culture, tradition, art and religion. On the contraray, a state can be defined as a patch of land with a sovereign government.

A nation can be defined as a politico-cultural entity, which is identified by its unique character and collective rights. On the other hand, a state can be defined as a politico-judicial entity, which is identified by its sovereign rights..

The two main basis of colonial economy in Vietnam were -

1. The rice cultivation under the French government.

2. The rubber plantations which were owned by the Vietnamese elite.

In order to increase the rice production in the Mekong Delta infrastructural development was taken up and canals were constructed. The Trans Indo-China rail network was set up in order to connect different areas and facilitate trade.
