Let ‘x’ be the length of one side of the cube.

Therefore x^3 is the volume of the cube.

Now, Volume(v) = x^3

=> Δv/Δx = 3x^2

=>Δv/v = (3x^2/x^3) Δx

=>Δv/v *100% = 3Δx/x *100%

=> (% error in volume) = 3*(% error in measuring sides of cube)

Given, % error in volume = 2%

Therefore, % error in measuring sides = (2/3)%
