{\huge{\underline{\underline{\rm{\maltese Question:-}}}}}

Q - 3 cubes each of volume 64 cm³ are joined end to end find the length of the resulting figure .

{\huge{\underline{\underline{\rm{\maltese Answer\checkmark}}}}}

First , finding the side of each cube .

 \rm \: volume_{cube} =  {side}^{3}

 \mapsto \rm \: 64 \:  {cm}^{3}  =  {s}^{3}

 \mapsto \rm \: s =   \sqrt[3]{64 {cm}^{3} }

 \mapsto \boxed{ \rm \: side = 4 \: cm}

Now , We are attaching 3 cubes side by side .

So ,

The new length of the figure would be = side + side + side

 \mapsto \rm \: length = 3 \times side

 \mapsto \rm \: length = 3 \times 4 \: cm

 \mapsto \boxed{ \rm \: length = 12 \: cm}

&

Height and breadth would be same ,

Refer to the Attachment .

Answer:

vol. of cube = 64 cm^3

a / q , 3 × 64 = 192 cm^3

now, length= breadh = height

then, vol. = cube root of 192 = 4 root 3

so height =

 4 \sqrt{3}

cm
