(1) Crossing of F1 progeny with male parent

Explanation:

Taking the example of Humans:

Female♀️ has XX genotype(i.e homozygous), whereas Male♂️ has XY genotype(i.e heterozygous)

As we know in a Test Cross Recessive gene is crossed.

So, here, Y chromosome is taken Recessive with respect to X chromosome so we would be considering Male as Recessive.
