I think by the calculation we get that ....the water has density as 1 g/cm^3
so the objects having more density will sink in water and the object with less density than water will float on water ..but actually here the the volume matters more ..the object with less density has more volume Where the glass with more density has less volume...thus they are tied ..they balance the and are In equilibrium thus they float on water.....
