No , it does not violate the law of conservation of energy because as there is a gradual decrease in the potential energy of freely falling object the kinetic energy of the object increases gradually. The potential energy gets converted into kinetic energy and according to law of conservation of energy energy is neither created nor destroyed it only changes its form.

NO,because as the potential energy of body is decrease.the kinetic energy of the body increase because as body falls it's velocity increase and kinetic energy is directly proportional to velocity.so,the sum of energy are always equal
