hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

13. first of all we will discuss what is AFFORESTATION??

=> it is the planting of new plants in an area where there was not trees or plants before.

now, we know that plants release oxygen and take in carbon dioxide to make their own food. carbon dioxide is used in the process of photosynthesis. and we know plants prepare their food by the process of carbon dioxide.

the main greenhouse gases are carbon dioxide, methane, nitrogen dioxide etc. and carbon dioxide is the main gas which is responsible for greenhouse effect.

GREENHOUSE EFFECT - carbon dioxide don't allow the trapped sunrays to escape back into space. this is called green house effect.

because of green house effect the temperature of the earth becomes more and more warmer. this causes global warming.

because of global warming, the sea is overflowing as the snow and ice of polar regions are melting. birds, animals and plants are dying.

so, afforestation is one of the method to prevent greenhouse effect as afforestation means more trees and more trees means more absorbing of carbon dioxide.

hope it's enough :)
