A storm or a cyclone is detected when winds rush from an area of higher concentration to an area of lower concentration of atmospheric pressure .As a result the winds appear to be whirling around a particular point. Hence if the atmospheric pressure of the surrounding areas is greater than other area, the winds begin to move towards the area where atmospheric pressure is low and this tells us that , a cyclone is approaching. A clear sky is determined by normal atmospheric pressure which is there in our daily life having a value of 1 atm. In such circumstances, atmospheric pressure is uniform everywhere.
