The outer diameter = d1 = 14 cm

so the outer radius = r1 = 14 / 2 = 7 cm

The inner diameter = d2 = 6 cm

so the inner radius = r2 = 6/2 = 3 cm

Height of pipe = 50 cm

Total Surface Area of Pipe

= 2πr1(h + r1) - 2πr2(h + r2)

= 2π [ r1(h + r1) - r2(h +r2) ]

= 2π [ 7(50 + 7) - 3(50 + 3) ]

= 2π ( 399 - 159)

= 2π (240)

= 2 × 22/7 × 240

= 10560 / 7

= 1508.57 cm2

= 1508.6 cm² ( approx.)
