1)The angles in a rhombus are all equal only when the rhombus is a square.
In the general case, opposite angles are congruent, and consecutive angles are supplementary. This is because the opposite sides are parallel. When parallel lines are cut by a transversal (in this case another side) the same side interior angles are supplementary. The opposite angles are congruent because angles supplementary to the same angle are congruent to each other.

*The two diagonals of a rhombus are perpendicular; that is, a rhombus is an orthodiagonal quadrilateral.
*Its diagonals bisect opposite angles.
