Answer:

Area of Floor = 1.89

Are of each tile = 0.09

Number of tiles required = Area of Floor/ Area of each tile

 \frac{1.89}{0.0 } = 21

hence 21 Tiles are required

Cost of 1 tile = 12.50 Rs

Cost of 21 Tiles =

21 \times 12.5 = 262.5

Hence The tiles will cost 262.5 Rs

CHANGE TO BE GIVEN TO FATHER = 737.5 Rs

So, How many tiles covered whole area (1.89 cm²) of floor

 \sf = \frac{1.89 × 1}{0.09} \\

 \sf \underline{\fbox{= 21 tiles} } \\

------------------------------------------

(b)

If cost of 1 tile is ₹12.50

Then cost of 21 tiles is

 \sf = 12.50 × 21 \\

 \sf \underline {\fbox{= 262.5}} \\

------------------------------------------

(c)
