Subject:Regarding Coronavirus and suggesting methods to prevent its spread
Respected sir/madam,
Through the columns of your reputed daily I would like to draw attention to the epidemic of Coronavirus. The disease is spreading like forest fire and has affected 10 lakh people globally. Many people have lost their near and dear ones , they have lost their livelihoods and many have died.
This disease, which originated from Wuhan in China has now become global headlines. Due to irresponsibility of few people, many innocent people are suffering. Coughing and sneezing openly, touching infected people, sharing things( eg. comb, soap) with infected people are the root causes of its spread. This disease is spreading quickly in India which is dangerous because we have huge population and it will easily spread.
It can be easily controlled by voluntarily quarantining yourself if you suspect of having the disease. Following the government’s orders of lockdown is the key solution. Washing your hands frequently, not touching your face, santizing yourself after coming home from outside can help. The main solution is in the hands of the people - cooperation. I hope that this letter will create awareness among people about this disease and help humanity win the war against Coronavirus.
