Therefore ,

v = 25 m/s

and , a = - 0.5 ( retardation )

t = 10 sec

(a) By first equation of motion

v = u + at

25 = u - 0.5 × 10

25 = u - 5

u = 30 metre per second

Hence velocity after 10 second be 30 metre per second...

(b) If mass is 20000kg then

we know that

F = ma

F = 20000 (- 0.5 )

F = - 10000 N
