Correct question :

It is to be established by RHS congruence rule that ∆ABC ≅ ∆RPQ. What additional information is needed, if it is given that ∠B = ∠P = 90° and AB = RP?

Solution :

Given :

  • ∠B = ∠P = 90° ( Right angle )

  • AB = RP ( Side )

Answer :

So, the third information we need is the equality of Hypotenuse of both triangles, that is :

  • AC = RQ

Hence, if this information is given then we can say that ∆ABC ≅ ∆RPQ.
