For infinite solutions, the formula is:
 \frac{a1}{a2}  =  \frac{b1}{b2}  =  \frac{c1}{c2}
where a1, a2, b1, b2, are coefficients of x and y and c1 and c2 s are constants.

Now, here the formula will be like this:

 \frac{5}{a + b }  =  \frac{8}{a - b} =   \frac{7}{2a + b + 1}

So the two equations will be:
\frac{5}{a + b }  =  \frac{8}{a - b}
and
 \frac{8}{a - b} =   \frac{7}{2a + b + 1}
Solve these equations to find the values of a and b

Hope this helps :)
