1 Req. in parallel=       1/Req.=1/R1 + 1/R2

                         1/Req.=1/4+1/8

                                    =2+1/8

                                     =3/8 ohm

                                  hence Req.=8/3 ohm

2 we know that V=IR

                             =6*8/3

                             =16 volts

3 we know that in parallel resistance current in each resistor=total voltage/R of that resistor

therefore in R1 I=16/4=4A

                in R2 I=16/8=2A

4 as the combination of resistors is in parallel hence voltage across each resistor will be the same,i.e.,16 volts
