Here is the solution :

Formulas Required :

(1) Volume of Cone = 1/3 * πr² *h,
(2) Curved Surface area of Cone = πrl,

πr² = Area of circle !.[Remember this]

Given data :

Area of Base = 28.26 m²,
Height of Cone = 4m,

Now,

Base of Cone is a circle ,

So ,

we can write the following, To find radius !.

πr² = 28.26 m²,

Assuming π = 3.14,

=> r² = 9 m²,
=> r = Either +3 m or -3m,

Radius can't be negative so, Radius is +3 m,

Now,
Finding volume and C.S.A,

(1) Volume = 1/3*Area of base*Height,

=> 1/3 * 28.26 * 4 m³

=> 37.68 m³,

(2) C.S.A i.e Curved Surface area = πrl,

l = slant height = √(r²+h²)

=> l = √(9+16)

=> l = √25 = +5 m or -5 m,

l can't be negative so, l = +5 m,

Now,

C.S.A of Cone = πrl,

Assuming π = 3.14 again,

=> C.S.A = 3.14 * 3 * 5 m²

=> C.S.A = 47.1 m²

Therefore :

(1) Volume of Cone = 37.68 m³,
(2) C.S.A of Cone = 47.1 m²,

Hope you understand, Have a Great day :),
Thanking you, Bunti 360 !.
