EXPLANATION.

⇒ d/dx (√tan2x).

As we know that,

⇒ y = √tan2x.

⇒ dy/dx = 1/2√tan2x x d/dx(tan2x).

⇒ dy/dx = 1/2√tan2x x sec²(2x) x 2.

⇒ dy/dx = sec²(2x)/√tan2x.

Option [D] is correct answer.

MORE INFORMATION.

(1) = d/dx(sin x) = cos x.

(2) = d/dx(cos x) = - sin x.

(3) = d/dx(tan x) = sec²x.

(4) = d/dx(cot x) = - cosec²x.

(5) = d/dx(sec x) = sec x tan x.

(6) = d/dx(cosec x) = - cosec x cot x.
