Step-by-step explanation:

a. area of kitchen floor = l*b

= (180*120)cm

= 21600 cm sq.

are of tiles = side*side

= (10*10)cm

= 100 cm sq.

no. of tiles needed= (21600/100)cm sq.

= 216 tiles are needed

b. perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b)

perimeter of rectangular park= 2*(150+50)m

= 2*200m

= 400 m

cost of fencing per m. = Rs. 2

cost of fencing for 400m = 400*2

= Rs. 800

Answer:

a) No of tiles required= area of the kitchen/area of 1 tile

                                   =length×breadth/ side×side

                                   =180×120/10×10⇒18×12

∴No of tiles required=216

b)Fencing is done in the boundary only,

∴perimeter of the field=length of the fence

                                    =2(l+b)

                                    =2(150+50)=2×200

                perimeter=400m

               cost of fencing=400×2

             total cost=₹800
