HELLO DEAR,

(1) Mass of substance (m) = 50 g

Volume of substance (V) = 20 cm³

Density of substance (D) = m/v = 50g/20cm³
= 2.5gcm^(-3)

The substance will sink in water, when density {2.5 gcm^(-3)} is more than the density of water
{(1 gcm^(-3)}

(2) DENSITY of sealed pack =
 \frac{mass \: of \: the \: packed}{volume \: of \: packed}
= 500/350= 10/7 =
1.428c {m}^{ - 3}

The density of the substance is more than the density of water (1 g cm-3).

Hence, it sink in water.

As the packet is fully submerged in water,

Mass of water displaced by the packet = (volume of the packet )x (density of water)

= 350 cm3 × 1 g/cm3 = 350 g

I HOPE ITS HELP YOU DEAR,
THANKS

Mass of substance = 50 g

Volume of substance = 20 cm³

Density of substance

= m/v = 50g/20cm³

= 2.5gcm^(-3)

--------

DENSITY of sealed pack =
mass of the packed volume of packed. volume / of packedmass of the packed
= 500/350= 10/7 =
1.428c {m}^{ - 3}1.428cm−3

___________

density of the substance is more than the density of water (1 g cm-3).

THEREFORE,

it sink in water.

Mass of water displaced by the packet = (volume of the packet )x (density of water)

= 350 cm3 × 1 g/cm3 = 350 g
