Answer:

Hey u mate here your answer.---

Step-by-step explanation:

Two angles A and B are said to be supplementary when their sum is 180°

A+B = 180°

Now,

Let us assume the angle we need to find out be (A) so its supplementary angle would be (180-A)

Now, according to the Questions:

> A=4(180°-A)

(The question says angle A is 4 times the angle 180-A, just try to understand the question and you'll get it)

On solving the above equation you will get:

> 5A= 720°

Hence,

> A= 144°

So the angle which is four times its supplement is 144°

I have one more solution it in different way to understand this properly:

Two angles are supplementary when they add up to 180 degrees. Therefore, if the measure of angle 1 is 4 times the measure of its supplement:

Let's call angle 1 4x and its supplement x.

4x + x= 180

5x= 180

x= 180/5

x= 36 is the measure of the supplement.

Since angle 1 is 4 times the measure of its supplement:

36*4= 144 is the measurement of angle

Answer:

144°

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the angle be x..

x + it's supp.=180°......(1)

It's supp.=180-x.........(2)

as it's already given x=4 times it's supp.

So,. x=4(180-x)...(3) (from 2)

substitute (2),(3) in (1)

4(180-x)+180-x=180°

720-4x+180-x=180

900-5x=180

-5x=180-900

-5x=-720

x=-720/-5

x=144°//

If you want to verify...

180-144 =36

36*4=144//..

Hope it helps...
