sides of triangle = x+1 , x+2 , x+3

Using pythagoras theorem

(Hypotenus)² = (Base)² + (Prependicular)²

(x+3)²  =  (x+2)²  + (x+1)²

x² + 9 = x² + 4 + x² + 1

x² + 9 = 2x² + 5

9 - 5 = 2x² - x²

4 = x²

x² = 4

x = √4

x = 2 cm

base = x+2 = 2 + 2 = 4

height/ prependicular = x+1 = 2+1 = 3

area of triangle = \frac{1}{2} × B×H

                         = \frac{1}{2} ×4×3

                          =6 cm
