Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

1) 1 Δ can only be made if the sides are having 3cm exach as the perimeter is 9cm

⇒ 3cm + 3cm+ 3cm = 9cm

2)

Given:-

  • PQ = 15cm
  • PR = 13cm
  • TR = 5cm
  • ∠PTR = 90°

To find:-

the perimeter of the Δ PQR.

Solution:-

Before finding the perimeter of ΔPQR

we know that, ΔPQR = ΔPTQ + ΔPTR

BY pythagorean triplet,

PR = (PT)²+(TR)²

13 = (PT)²+(5)²

13 =  (PT)²+25

PT = 25-13

PT = 12

perimeter = 13+5+12

⇒ 30cm

Now, perimeter of ΔPTQ

PQ = (PT)²+(TQ)²

15 = (12)²+(TQ)²

15 = 144+ (TQ)²

√TQ = 144-15

√TQ = 129

TQ = 13

PERIMETER = 15+13+12

⇒ 40cm

perimeter of ΔPQR= ΔPTQ+ΔPTR

⇒ 70cm
