because

sejal's statement : 3 pieces out of 6 which means 3/6 = 1/2

jyoti's statement : 1/2 apple ; which has the same meaning as sejal's statement

ragav stament also state the same thing

but according to rani's statement her mother gave her 1/4 which is not equal to 1/2
