The measures taken by govt. are suffecient because govt. have focussed in all aspects of agriculture to improve it.
for eg. Govt. announces MSP that will benefit the farmers
Govt. have given special weather bulletins which would benefit farmer from crop loss
Govt. had made access of farmers to educational agricultural institutions to raise their standard
Govt. provides compensation when any farmer loses his produce because of climate
Govt. also provides loans from banks to the farmers on very low interest rates
Govt. also provides utea to farmers at very low rates.

Yes, I agree that gender discrimination acts as a major setback for employment of women in rural areas coz people in rural areas continue to believe that women should be bound only in their houses and do household chores and if they give employment to women they pay them less as they believe that women can never do more than men, So, thatswhy gender discrimination is a major problem for women in rural areas
