side of inner square(a)=45-5 m

=40m

now,

Area of path=area of outer square - area of inner square.

Area of path=s^2 - a^2.

Area of path=45^2 - 40^2.

Area of path=425m^2.

1m^2=₹20

425m^2=?

=425×20

=₹8500

Therefore area of path is 425m^2

and cost of cementing it is ₹8500
