a) Objects that emit their own light are called luminous objects. Human eye perceives the light reflecting from different objects to cause the sensation of vision.

b) Regular reflection takes place from a smooth or a regular surface. In regular reflection, all reflected rays are parallel to each other for parallel incident rays. Irregular or diffused reflection takes place from an irregular surface.

c) A Beam refers to collection of rays.

With the interaction between electrons and anode, radiation may be created as the collection of rays, and beams can refers to collection of rays.

d) Convex mirrors have very wide field of view as they are curved outwards. So, the convex mirrors enable the driver to view much larger area than a plane mirror. The images produced are erect and their size is much smaller than the object.
