explanation

in question no 1 on the left side we have 2 hydrogen atom but on the right side we have 3 hydrogen atom.so to balance hydrogen I multiply 2 on the right side of Naoh . against Na becomes unbalanced so to balance Na I multiply 2 on the left side of Na. Now on both sides we have same no of atoms.

to balance oxygen and hydrogen I multiply 4 on the left side of H2O
