Given :---

  • Length of Rectangle = 10cm
  • Breadth of Rectangle = 7cm .

To Find :--

  • area of Remaining part of figure ?

Formula and Concept used :--

Two Semi-circles are Drawn taking Breadth as Diameter , both semi-circle will make one Full circle , with diameter as breadth of Rectangle .

→ so, Radius of one Circle = (7/2)cm .

→ Area of Rectangle = Length * Breadth .

→ Area of Circle = πr² .

→ Area of Remaining part = Area of Rectangle - Area of circle .

______________________________

Solution :---

Putting all values we get now,

Area of Remaining part = Area of Rectangle - Area of circle .

→ Area of Remaining part = 10*7 - (22/7 * (7/2) * (7/2)

→ Area of Remaining part = 70 - [ 11*7/2]

→ Area of Remaining part = 70 - 38.5

→ Area of Remaining part = 31.5cm²

Hence, Area of Remaining part will be 31.5cm²..
