Given,

The complement of an angle is 10 degree more than thrice the angle itself. Find the angle.

⇒ Two Angles are Complementary when they add up to 90 degrees (a Right Angle). They don't have to be next to each other, just so long as the total is 90 degrees. Examples: • 60° and 30° are complementary angles.

⇒Let angle be 'x'  (3× x= 3x)

⇒According to the question, complement = x + 10

⇒Therefore, (3x) + (x+10) = 90

⇒4x + 10 = 90

⇒4x = 90-10 ⇔80

⇒4x = 80

x = \frac{80}{4}

therefore x=20

complement = 70

angles = 20 and 70

Step-by-step explanation:

a) complement of 40 = 50

b) complement of 20 = 70

c) complement of 30 = 60
