Answer:

1. Crystallization or crystallisation is the process by which a solid forms, where the atoms or molecules are highly organized into a structure known as a crystal. Some of the ways by which crystals form are precipitating from a solution, freezing, or more rarely deposition directly from a gas.

2. Sea salt is salt that is produced by the evaporation of seawater. It is used as a seasoning in foods, cooking, cosmetics and for preserving food. It is also called bay salt, solar salt, or salt. Like mined rock salt, production of sea salt has been dated to prehistoric times.

3. The term saturated solution is used in chemistry to define a solution in which no more solute can be dissolved in the solvent. It is understood that saturation of the solution has been achieved when any additional substance that is added results in a solid precipitate or is let off as a gas.

4. Whenever you get iron, water and oxygen together, you get rust. So the best way to prevent it is to keep them apart; that's what paint does, or the spray-on wax and oil coatings that the car protection companies sell. Keep your tools dry; wipe down your bike after a ride; keep the water away and it can't rust.

Answer:

ANS -1) Crystallization is a process which separates a pure solid in the form of the crystals from a solution. This medhod is used to purify solid.

ANS -2) The sea water is first collected and it is kept for evaporation. When the water is fully evaporated by this way we obtain

salt from sea water. Sea water contains a large amount of common salt dissolved in it.

ANS-3) A saturated solution is a chemical solution containing the maximum concentration of a solute dissolved in the solvent.

ANS-4 Two methods of preventing rusting are:

✔️ Coat with oil or grease.

✔️ Keep it clean and dry.
